We are often asked, “What is a Business Coach?”  Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this question because we are different things to different people.  We know this because we have asked our clients and referral sources to describe us in their own words and here are some terms they use: Trusted Advisor, Problem Solver, Trainer, Sounding Board, Guiding Hand, Knowledge Base, Instiller of Confidence, and Objective.

Small business owners have a common bond in the frustrations they feel and the challenges they face.  We have worked with hundreds of small business owners throughout our careers and it’s amazing, but we hear the same things over and over.  If you are a small business owner or if you work with a lot of small business owners you have probably said/heard one or more of the following:

• All I need is more money.
• All I need is some more good people.
• All I need is more sales.
• I don’t have time to plan.
• Those ideas are for big companies with more resources.
• My problems are unique…specific to my industry.
